What we collect
Nothing. Myttin does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts to create and no sign-in.
Your journal data
The notes, weather, moods, and dates you write are stored only on your device, using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). This data never leaves your phone through Myttin. If you use Apple’s standard device backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), your Myttin data may be included in that backup, which is handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
No network access
Myttin does not connect to the internet. There are no third-party SDKs, advertising, or analytics tools embedded in the app.
Permissions the app may ask for
Photos (add only)
When you tap Save on a share card, Myttin writes that image to your Photo Library. It only adds photos and never reads your existing library.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, Myttin schedules a local notification on your device. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent through any server.
Your data, your control
Because your entries live only on your device, you are in full control of them. You can edit or delete any entry inside the app at any time, and deleting Myttin removes all of its data from your device. There is no copy on our side to retain, export, or erase — we never held one. This also means that access, correction, portability, and deletion rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA are satisfied by default: you already hold everything.
Children
Because Myttin collects no data at all, it is safe for users of any age.
